We’re definitely not your typical wedding venue. Sure, we can host a traditional white wedding reception, just like anyone else, but if you’re looking for something daring, different and decadent, well, that’s right up our alley!

The grade II listed house and grounds can be entirely yours for the day, the weekend or the whole week.

Our grounds feature rolling parkland, walled garden, paddocks and an apple orchard which all are inhabited by our sheep and shaggy Shetland ponies and Alpacas.

We are licensed to hold marriage ceremonies in The Library (up to 25 guests), The Barn (250 guests) as well as outside anywhere on the grounds. Alternatively we can host your reception and party after getting hitched at the local church… you dream it we can do it because all persuasions, religions and beliefs are welcome at Sparkford

A lazy reception lunch amidst autumn leaves in the grounds, perhaps a more formal sit down wedding  breakfast in our barn (up to 120) or why not have a marquee erected (for up to 250). Afterwards why not party in the subterranean club into the early hours…

Having a wedding at Sparkford Hall is rather like having a wedding at your own house. The place is yours to do with what you wish (within some boundaries of course!) and you can create your day exactly as you envisage it.

We are very happy for you to plan everything yourselves as you would if it was your own home. However, if you preferred, we can put you in touch with a local wedding planner/event manager, who can assist you all the way with the planning process so you can make sure all the smallest details are perfect. They can organise everything from all inclusive packages to marquee hire to bar staff and decor. We don’t charge corkage so you can bring all your own alcohol, we simply ask that you hire some staff to serve and look after the bar, if it is a larger event.

The House is available for weekends or during the week with a 2 night minimum stay.
